Upload up to 6 photos of the physical item directly from its passport page — no account needed. A team member at the manufacturer reviews them by hand and marks the item verified or not; there's no automated AI matching behind this today, and CertyLoop is explicit about that rather than implying otherwise.

Reporting that you bought it second-hand

"Report ownership transfer" on the passport lets a new owner self-report a resale. It starts as a pending claim and doesn't appear on the passport or affect anything until a manufacturer or CertyLoop staff reviews and confirms it.

Getting a transfer code (if you're the seller)

If you're the current recorded owner and you're selling the item on, "Get a transfer code" on its passport emails a short code only to your own recorded email address — hand that code to the buyer so their claim can be verified as genuinely coming from you.
