Your first passport, start to finish

The fastest way to go from nothing to a live public passport page.

Right after sign-up, you land on a short guided walkthrough that takes you through the exact same steps described here — this article is the reference version.

Steps

  1. Create a product — just a brand name, product name, and reference number to start.
  2. Create a serialized unit of that product — give it a serial number; CertyLoop automatically creates its Digital Product Passport.
  3. Open the passport — you'll get a QR code and a public URL immediately.

That's the whole loop. From here, richer detail (materials, care instructions, supplier evidence, photos) makes the passport more complete, but the passport itself already exists and already has a real URL the moment step 2 finishes.

A brand-new passport starts as a private draft, not published — see "Publishing a passport" in the Manufacturer section for why, and how to publish it once it's ready.

For repeat, single-item creation once you have real products set up, "Quick Create" in the sidebar is a faster, mobile-friendly version of the same flow — pick a product, type a serial, get a QR code to print immediately.
