What is CertyLoop?
An overview of what CertyLoop does and who it's for.
CertyLoop is a Digital Product Passport (DPP) readiness and lifecycle platform, built for furniture manufacturers preparing for the EU's Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR).
Instead of just generating a QR code, CertyLoop covers the whole journey: importing your product catalog, collecting supplier and compliance evidence, printing QR labels, tracking warranty, and giving every physical product a public passport page that follows it through its life.
The four portals
- Manufacturer portal — manage your catalog, create products, assign stock to dealers, track compliance.
- Dealer portal — manage inventory shipped to you, register sales, activate warranties.
- Repair workshop portal — intake repairs, log service history.
- Public passport page — what anyone scanning a QR code sees, no login required.
The core idea
Every physical product unit — one dining chair, one sofa, one shelving unit — gets its own Digital Product Passport the moment you create it. That passport has a public URL and QR code, and it accumulates real history over the product's life: which dealer it was shipped to, when it sold, any repairs, and (once configured) whether its core data has been anchored on a blockchain for tamper-evidence.
