Privacy Policy

CertyLoop is not yet a registered company, so there is no formally appointed data controller entity or lawyer-reviewed Privacy Policy yet. What follows is a plain, accurate description of what we actually do with your data during the pilot — not generic placeholder text.

• Account details you provide: name, work email, hashed password, company info.
• Product and passport data you enter: product models, serial numbers, materials, supplier and compliance details, lifecycle events.
• Basic product-usage analytics (via PostHog) so we can see which parts of the pilot are actually being used — never sold, never used for advertising.
• If you use the in-app support chat, whatever you send us there (via Zoho Desk).

Only what's needed to keep you signed in and remember your language/theme preference, plus PostHog's analytics cookie described above. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

A Digital Product Passport's public page only ever shows non-identifying product and lifecycle information (brand, model, warranty status, service summary) — never buyer identity, prices, addresses, or internal notes.

You can ask us to export or delete your data, or close your account, at any time — see "Get in touch" below. Once the company is registered, a complete GDPR-compliant Privacy Policy, reviewed by a lawyer, will replace this page.
